How we check deals

Every price, term and eligibility rule on SaaSDeals.io is copied from the listing that sells it, and every page says when it was last read.

There are no scores, no verdicts and no figures we worked out ourselves. The catalogue is collected on a schedule, normalised into one place, and the site is rebuilt from a read-only API, so what you read is what the sources say.

  • Rebuilt from the API
  • Every page dated
  • No invented figures

SaaSDeals.io copies prices and terms from the listing that sells them, dates every page, quotes source text with attribution, and leaves a figure out rather than guessing it.

Where the data comes from

Two kinds of source

Marketplaces

AppSumo, Dealify, DealMirror, StackSocial and Prime Club. Their public listings are read, put into one shape and grouped under the product they belong to.

Credit programmes

Startup and AI credit programmes from FindAICredits, StartupPerks, Awesome Startup Credits and aicredits.dev. Only the offer facts are stored: the provider, what is offered, who qualifies and the date it was checked.

What we do, and what we do not

Five rules the site is held to

  • Copy the price, the terms and the eligibility from the source, and link back to it
  • Print the date the figures were last read on every page that carries them
  • Invent a rating, a review count, a saving or a value the source never stated
  • Publish a long block of a marketplace's own text as if it were ours
  • Sell placement. A deal cannot pay to be listed or to rank higher

Gaps stay visible

An empty field is an answer

Where a source does not state a price, a trial length, a refund window or a credit value, the field is left out rather than filled with a placeholder. A page that says nothing about a refund window is telling you the source does not publish one, which is more useful than a guess. Where a figure can change, the page says so and points you at the source listing as the final word.
