Questions the listing answers

What are the core capabilities of PlutusDoc relevant to AppSumo buyers?

PlutusDoc is an agent‑operated document workspace that drafts and edits documents, fills placeholders, adds recipients and signing fields, sends and tracks documents, runs reminders, provides document analytics and templates, and exposes the same actions to agents and to developers via an action layer. These capabilities (drafting, placeholders, sending, tracking, reminders, templates, analytics and an action registry) are described on PlutusDoc’s main product pages.

Does PlutusDoc support electronic signatures and working with uploaded PDFs?

Yes. PlutusDoc lets you add signature, initials, date and other fields to a page; uploaded PDFs can be drawn on, rotated, saved as a copy or over the original; and finished PDFs have signature fields flattened into the page so the signed result is fixed in the file.

Can I connect external agents or LLM clients (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to PlutusDoc?

Yes. PlutusDoc runs an MCP server and supports connecting MCP clients (including Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or your own agent). Connected clients are authorized via OAuth and can call the same set of actions the app exposes, subject to scopes and approval gates.

How do external agents and integrations authenticate and get permission to act in PlutusDoc?

PlutusDoc uses OAuth 2.1 for MCP client connections (clients register and present a consent screen). Connections start with read scopes by default; write scopes are requested when an action genuinely needs them. Connected clients and API keys are listed in settings and can be revoked.

What developer interfaces does PlutusDoc provide and how do I start?

PlutusDoc provides a REST API and an MCP (agent) endpoint plus webhooks. The developer quickstart is: (1) create a scoped API key in the developer console, (2) make REST calls with bearer auth, a workspace header and an idempotency key on writes, and (3) receive lifecycle events via webhooks (document.created, .sent, .viewed, .signed, .completed, .declined, .voided).

What agent/developer actions are available (what can agents do)?

PlutusDoc exposes a single action registry of nineteen actions covering documents (list, read, create draft, send, check send‑readiness, list placeholders), reminders (read and send), analytics (summarize activity, explain a stalled document), contacts/teams (search contacts, list workspaces, read team state) and calendar actions (read availability, manage meetings, send reschedules).
