Questions the listing answers

What is IvyForms?

IvyForms is a WordPress form builder plugin that provides a drag-and-drop visual builder, pre-built templates, entry management inside WordPress, spam protection, integrations (REST API, webhooks, Google Sheets, page-builder blocks), and other features to create contact forms, surveys, registrations and workflows without coding.

What core features does IvyForms offer?

IvyForms includes an AI-assisted builder, drag-and-drop form building, ready-to-use templates, 10+ field types, conditional logic, multi-step and conversational forms, form customization and styling, live preview, entry management, REST API, and built-in spam protection (reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, Turnstile).

How do I create and publish a form with IvyForms?

After installing and activating the plugin in WordPress, open IvyForms in the dashboard, use the builder to add fields and configure Settings (name, description, store entries in database on/off). When ready, copy the shortcode (e.g. [ivyforms id=2]) from the builder and paste it into a page/post or use a page‑builder block to publish the form.

How can I embed IvyForms forms and which page builders are supported?

You can embed IvyForms forms via a simple shortcode or with dedicated integrations/blocks for page builders. IvyForms provides a Gutenberg block and explicit integrations for Elementor and Divi, allowing you to add forms directly inside those editors without shortcodes.

What spam protection options does IvyForms support and any important limitations?

IvyForms supports Google reCAPTCHA (v2, Invisible, v3), Cloudflare Turnstile, and hCaptcha as built-in spam-protection fields. Only one security field may be used per form (adding one disables the other security field options for that form).

Does IvyForms save form submissions in my WordPress database and can I disable that?

Yes — 'Store entries in database' is enabled by default for each form and can be disabled per form in General Settings. If database storage is disabled, submissions will not appear in the Entries table and must be received via email notifications (which require a working mail setup such as WP Mail SMTP or similar).
